HBSUK Founder, Mark chairs the Board and drives the strategic direction of the business. Mark held various CEO, COO and Hospital Director roles in domestic and International Private Healthcare businesses before founding Healthcare Business Solutions (UK) in 2012

Dave started his career with Ernst & Young and Deloitte before leaving to work in industry. Dave has over 20 years’ experience leading rapid growth businesses and has held various CEO and board positions within private healthcare and technology.

Charles leads on key client and Consultant relationships. As deputy CEO, Charles also leads on a number of company strategic projects. With a big business background in Manufacturing and MBA qualified, Charles has a wealth and depth of skills he brings to the HBSUK Leadership team.

Charles is also sadly a Liverpool supporter.

Lucy has held various Operational Management positions across Acute NHS Trusts managing elective, non-elective and emergency services.

Lucy has a passion for transformation and uses this to drive operational excellence across the business.

Michael is a Chartered Accountant and joined as our CFO in 2020. Having trained with accounting firm BDO, Michael has held several senior finance roles across a broad range of sectors.

Alex is a seasoned CTO, joining HBSUK from GE Healthcare in 2020 and leading Product Development of the HBSUK Digital Triage Platform - Virtual Lucy™

Mark is an orthopaedic surgeon in Leeds. As clinical director he established the elective orthopaedic unit in Leeds and subsequently held national roles at the NHS Institute in both quality improvement and patient safety. He is passionate about improving access for patients and the quality and value of elective services.

Lucy, an advanced practice physiotherapist by background and pioneer of virtual fracture clinics for the NHS, leads on Product Management for the company. Lucy has been pivotal in developing the HBSUK Digital Triage Platform - Virtual Lucy™.

A mental health nurse by background, Penny joined HBSUK in March 2023 to continue our journey from Compliance to Excellence - the ‘E’ in our EPIC Values

Gary Bolger, a GP and Public Health Consultant, is an AXA legend, having served as their Chief Medical Officer for around 20 years. Garry is part of the HBSUK Medical Advisory Board and part of the Executive Team.

Dr Nazir has over 21 years of experience working in general practice, currently working as a general medical practitioner at Hall Green Health in Birmingham. Alongside his work as a GP, he has held prominent roles locally and nationally. He is currently Chief Clinical Information Officer (CCIO) at NHS Birmingham & Solihull ICB.
